The History of Love Feast
The Sunday ‘Love Feasts’ was a term coined by Srila Prabhupada in the early days of the Hare Krishna movement in America. He would hold lunches once or twice a week, providing delicious Krishna prasadam to the entire hippie community of 26 Second Avenue, New York. Love Feasts: Beginning of a sweet relationship Krishna is the storehouse of pleasure. The food that is offered to the Lord becomes non-different from Him. When someone eats such sanctified food, free of all karmic reactions, they feel a great sense of satisfaction immediately. This sweet hook brings back many souls again to the prasadam, and in the time being, they become devotees of the Lord.
Sunday Love Feasts: A global phenomenon
What started from a small storefront in New York, where Srila Prabhupada first gave the taste of the plethora of Indian-vegetarian preparations to the world, is now a global phenomenon. Today, the Sunday Love Feast is celebrated worldwide, where anyone, regardless of their faith, honours Krishna’s mercy with the chanting of Hare Krishna Maha-mantra. The culture of providing sumptuous lunches to everyone is popular throughout the world. Every ISKCON community, wherever they may be, keeps a love feast on Sundays. Millions of people have received Krishna’s direct mercy by honouring delicious prasadam.

Every country’s growth depends on many factors and one of them is how much the youth contributes to its growth. India has the highest population in the world but we also have an upper hand here that we are the youngest country in the world. The average age of India is 28 years, where India has 50% of its population below the age of 25 and 65% below the age of 35. This power of youth should be utilized properly by giving them the right direction and training. Here ISKCON Youth Forum (IYF) playing its role appropriately by facilitating youths. IYF is the youth wing of ISKCON started under the visionary guidance of HG Sundar Gopal Prabhuji chairman of ISKCON INDIA YOUTH COUNCIL (IIYC). IYF Ghaziabad has 2000 active youth connected, who are getting trained and contributing to the welfare of society.

IYF's Role in Creating Responsible and Visionary Leaders
Today’s Youth is the Leader of tomorrow, and when this youth is responsible, visionary, and knows his cultural, moral, and ethical values connected with its roots then only India can lead the whole world. Here, IYF Bareilly provides Vedic Education which represents our rich heritage blended with modern education. This also follows the vision of India’s Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi when he said “He wants Indian youth with scriptures in one hand and laptop in other.” People don’t remember leaders who impressed them but they remember leaders who have impacted them. A Leader should know how to deal with temptations, should be sensible when dealing with people, be duty-bound, not desire-bound, principle-oriented not pleasure-oriented, and be a good character person who could be a role model for society. These are some qualities that IYF cultivates in the life of Youths
